Our mission

Common Table Group partners with businesses, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations of every size to build workplaces and communities where everyone has a seat at the table. Through HR and talent strategy, hospitality and operations, and community engagement, we help organizations bring the right people together, create cultures of belonging, and grow stronger together.

Our vision

A world where every organization is a common table: a place where people are welcomed, valued, and equipped to thrive, and where workplaces and communities flourish because everyone belongs.

What we do

Three areas of practice, one goal: organizations that work well for the people inside them and the communities around them.

People & Culture

Strategic and day-to-day HR for teams that are growing, changing, or stretched thin.

  • Recruiting and talent strategy
  • Employee relations and performance
  • Policies, handbooks, and onboarding
  • Culture, belonging, and equitable hiring

Hospitality & Operations

Systems that make every guest, member, and employee feel expected and cared for.

  • Guest and member experience
  • Event and venue operations
  • Front-of-house staffing and training
  • Process and workflow improvement

Community Engagement

Strategy for organizations that want deeper roots in the neighborhoods and people they serve.

  • Outreach and partnership strategy
  • Young adult and congregational engagement
  • Listening sessions and community input
  • Volunteer and program design

Who we work with

For-profit, nonprofit, or somewhere in between. If you have people to lead and a community to serve, there’s a seat for you.

  • Small and mid-size businesses
  • Nonprofits
  • Churches and faith-based organizations
  • Hotels, venues, and restaurants
  • Schools and education programs
  • Healthcare and human services
  • Foundations and funders
  • Corporate teams
